Set up price and dimension types

Set up price and dimension types from My Gallery / My collection to adapt the options available when recording artworks.

Price and dimension types are part of the general settings of the account. This means they will be available to the users working in the same gallery or collection.

As well as when recording an artwork, you can add or edit price and dimension types from the My Gallery or My collection panel.

Set up price types

Price types let you tell apart several price options for the same artwork.

For example, you can create price types to record the retail price, the price for an art fair, the price with tax or other variants you need for your management.

1. Click the user menu.
2. Go to My Gallery or My collection.
3. Open Configuration.
4. Select Prices types.
5. Add a new price type or edit an existing one.
6. Save your changes.

Set up dimension types

Dimension types let you tell apart the different measurements linked to an artwork.

For example, you can create dimension types to record the measurements of the artwork, the measurements with the frame, the measurements of the packaging or other variants you need for your management.

1. Click the user menu.
2. Go to My Gallery or My collection.
3. Open Configuration.
4. Select Dimension types.
5. Add a new dimension type or edit an existing one.
6. Save your changes.

Where they are used

The price and dimension types you set up will be available when recording or editing artworks.

This lets you adapt the information of each artwork to the needs of your gallery, collection or studio.

They also let you choose from the options you have created when exporting information.
