Artworks advanced search

The advanced search lets you find artworks by applying specific filters, to get precise results within your inventory

How to use the advanced search

  1. Go to the Artworks module.
  2. Open the List.
  3. Select Advanced search.
  4. Fill in one or several filters.
  5. Click Search to see the results.

What kinds of filters you can use

  1. Artwork record data

You can search by the information recorded on the artwork record, such as title, series, artist, artwork type, status, ownership, inventory ID, year, location, tags, technique, packaging, dimensions, price, etc.

  2. Use within ITGallery

You can find artworks by their relationship with other functions of the system - for example, whether they are part of a set, an exhibition or a showroom, or whether a contact has shown interest in them.

  3. Integrations and visibility

Lets you search for artworks integrated with your website, Arteinformado, Exhibify VR or other available platforms.

  4. Administration information

You can filter by the artist payment status, whether the artwork is insured, or other internal management data.

  5. Registration dates

Lets you search by minimum or maximum date added within ITGallery.

Practical example

You do not have to fill in every field, but you can combine several criteria at once and use them as you need. For example: a collector comes to your gallery and asks to see all the artworks you have available, both paintings and sculptures, for a price no higher than €10,000.

Use the advanced search to answer this request quickly:

  • Artwork type: include "painting" and "sculpture"
  • Select "available" as the 'Status'
  • Choose a price range that includes "€10,000" in the maximum price field.
