Public view and QR code of an artwork

ITGallery automatically generates a public view, a link and a QR code for every artwork you create; these lead to a public view with the main information about the artwork and the gallery's contact details.

Every artwork created in ITGallery has a public view linked to it.

The public view is a web page with the main information about the artwork and the gallery's contact details.

ITGallery automatically generates:

  1. A Link to that public view.
  2. A QR code that opens that same link when scanned.

You can share the artwork in two ways:

  1. By sending the link directly.
  2. By downloading or showing the QR code for someone else to scan.

  1. Go to the Artworks module.
  2. Open the artwork record.
  3. Go to the General tab.
  4. Find the Link or QR code section.

Tip

You can use the link to share information about an artwork instantly, without having to prepare a document or send images manually.

Public view settings

The information shown when the QR code is scanned depends on the general public view settings.

From My Gallery → Configuration → Public view settings you can customise options such as the theme, prices, dimensions and purchases or reservations if you have Stripe set up.
