Protect a showroom with a password

You can protect a showroom with a password so that only the people who have it can open it.

When this option is on, anyone opening the link will have to enter the password before they can view the showroom.

How to protect a showroom with a password

1. Go to the Showrooms module from the main menu.
2. Click Edit on the showroom you want to change.
3. Turn on the Private option in the settings.
4. Enter the password you want to assign to the showroom.
5. Click Save showroom.

How private access works

Once this option is on, the showroom keeps its usual link, but every user has to enter the password before getting in. So you need to give them the password for them to view the showroom.

When to use this option

This function is useful when you want to share the showroom in a restricted way, for example in cases such as:

• private proposals for particular clients
• pre-sales or early access
• internal documentation or team-only use
