Generate and attach a PDF to a showroom

You can generate a PDF document with the information of the artworks included in a showroom, to share it as a dossier attached to your showroom. The PDF appears in the showroom as a link saying “Download PDF” in the header.


How to generate the PDF of a showroom

  1. Go to the Showrooms module from the main menu.
  2. Click the edit button of the showroom.
  3. Select Yes on Attach PDF
  4. Save the changes to the showroom

What the PDF includes

The content of the PDF depends on the settings of the showroom.

For example:

  • the artworks included
  • the order of the artworks
  • technical information
  • prices (if they are turned on)

When you need to update the PDF

If you make changes to the showroom, such as:

  • changing the order of the artworks
  • adding or removing artworks
  • changing the settings

the PDF becomes out of date.


How do you know if the PDF is out of date?

The system shows notices in the Artworks tab and in the Summary tab saying that you need to generate a new version.



How to update the PDF

  1. Go to the Showrooms module.
  2. Select the showroom.
  3. Go to the Summary tab.
  4. Click Generate PDF to create a new version.
