What you can manage in the Sales module
The Sales module brings together the commercial management of sold or reserved artworks, connecting inventory, invoicing, payments and reports.
When you record a sale, ITGallery links that information to other modules. For example, if an artwork is sold or reserved, its status is also updated in the inventory, so you do not have to change it manually from Artworks.

What you can manage from Sales:
-
Sales of artworks and concepts
You can record sales linked to one or several artworks from your inventory.
You can also add additional concepts when you need to include other amounts in the transaction.
-
Clients, sellers and invoicing details
Each sale can be linked to a buyer recorded in Contacts.
You can also specify a seller, add invoicing details and, if you need to, invoice a person or company other than the buyer.
-
Sale statuses
Sales have their own statuses depending on the stage they are at. You can check the payment status of each sale.
-
Invoices and pro forma invoices
From a sale you can generate, print or download invoices.
You can also work with pro forma invoices before issuing the final invoice.
-
Payments and payment links
You can record payments received manually or through payment links connected with Stripe.
-
Payments to the artist
If you set the percentage due to the artist, that information is also reflected in the artist payments section.
-
Searches, reports and exports
You can find sales using advanced filters and export information to Excel to review sales, payments or invoices.
This information can help you prepare internal reports or documentation for your accountant.
