Record the interests of a contact

Record the artistic interests of a contact to keep a note of their preferences and use them later in the advanced searches.

The interests you record appear on the contact record and let you find contacts by their preferences later. For example, you can search for contacts interested in artworks within a particular price range.

Record interests when creating a contact

When you create a new contact, you can record their interests by artist.

1. Go to Contacts > List.
2. Click New.
3. In the Interests field, search for and select the artist of interest.
4. Fill in the rest of the record.
5. Save the contact.

Record interests from a contact record

Once the contact has been created, you can expand their interests from the Interests tab of their record.

From this tab you can record interests in:

• Artists
• Artworks
• Criteria about the type of artwork the contact is looking for

1. Go to Contacts > List.
2. Open the contact record.
3. Go to the Interests tab.
4. Add the relevant interest.
5. Save your changes.

Edit interests in bulk

You can also edit the interests of several contacts at once and choose between:

• Adding the new interests to the ones already recorded.
• Overwriting the previous interests.
