Use the artists advanced search

The artists advanced search lets you find particular artists by applying filters to the information recorded on their records and to their commercial activity.


How to reach the artists advanced search

  1. Go to the Artists module.
  2. Click Advanced search.
  3. Fill in one or several filters.
  4. Click Search to see the results.

Search criteria available


  1. Artist type

    Search by the classification assigned on the artist record.


  2. Artwork type

    Filter artists by artworks linked to a particular category.


  3. With sales

    Lets you find artists with sales in certain statuses, such as paid, pending payment, partially paid, cancelled, reserved or other available statuses.


  4. Prefix

    Search artists by their assigned prefix.


  5. Tags

    Filter by internal tags assigned to the artist.


  6. Country

    Search by the country recorded on the artist record.


  7. City

    Search by the city recorded on the artist record.


  8. Nationality

    Filter by the artist's nationality.


  9. With sales in

    Lets you search for artists with sales made in a particular country or city.

Tip

Remember that you can sort the results by the criterion you choose from the list, by clicking the fields with an arrow in the list header.

What the advanced search is for


  1. Find artists with active or historical sales.
  2. Find artists by location or nationality.
  3. Search for artists by internal tags.
  4. Review artists linked to certain artwork types.
  5. Get commercial or administrative lists quickly.

Export the results of the artists advanced search

  1. Use the advanced search to get a more specific list.
  2. Once the filter is applied, go to the Tools menu.
  3. Select one of the export options available:
    1. Export to excel: exports the selected artists
    2. Export all to excel: exports all artists
    3. Export payments to excel: exports all the payments made by the gallery to the selected artist or artists
    4. Export all payments to excel: exports all the payments made by the gallery to artists
  4. Download the file and use it as an internal report or for administrative control.


Practical example

  1. Filter artists with artworks in Partially paid status
  2. Export the results to keep track of payments arising from sales.
