Manage contacts and requests in a showroom

You can let users contact you directly from a showroom to show their interest in an artwork or start a purchase.

These contacts are recorded automatically in ITGallery and let you follow them up commercially from the system.

How to allow contacts from a showroom

  1. Go to the Showrooms module from the main menu.
  2. Click Edit on the showroom you want to change.
  3. Turn on the Show “I'm interested” option.
  4. (Optional) Also turn on Show “I'm interested” in the artworks list.
  5. Save the changes to the showroom.

Ways of getting in touch

“I'm interested” button on the artwork record

Lets the user get in touch from the individual record of an artwork.

When they click it, they have to fill in a form with their details.

What happens when a user sends a request

When a user completes the form, you receive an email at the address linked to your ITGallery account.

Important: the email is sent to the main address of your ITGallery account, not to the user you log in as. You can check or change this email in: My Gallery > Configuration

Generate an offer after the contact

You can set the system to generate an offer automatically when a user sends a request from the showroom.

This lets you:

  • record the commercial interest
  • handle the follow-up from the Offers module

Relationship with the “Ask data” function

The Ask data function requests information from the user before they open the showroom.

Unlike the “I'm interested” button:

  • Ask data → collects information before they enter
  • I'm interested → collects information when the user shows interest in a particular artwork
