Practical advanced search examples
You can combine different filters to find particular contacts or to review the quality of your database.
Review contacts with incomplete information
Use the Empty option to find contacts missing important information.

For example, you can search for:
- Contacts with no email, to complete their details before sending a mailing campaign.
- Contacts with no phone, if you need to update contact information.
- Contacts with no tags, to check whether they are classified correctly.
- Contacts with no interests in artists, to spot incomplete records for collectors or potential clients.
Prepare a mailing campaign
You can search for contacts by combining filters such as:
- Contact type: Client, Potential client or VIP.
- Language: Spanish, English or French.
- Saved for mailing: Yes.
-
Tags: according to the segmentation you have created.
Once you have found the contacts, you can use the Export contacts for mailing tool from the contacts list to generate the file.

Prepare an art fair
You can use the advanced search to bring back contacts from a previous art fair and prepare better for a new edition.
For example, if you are taking part in ARCOmadrid 2027 and at ARCOmadrid 2026 you met potential clients or contacts interested in an artist you are showing again, you can find them by combining filters such as:
- Source: ARCOmadrid 2026
- Contact type: Potential client
- Interests: the artist you are going to show
- Responsible: the member of the team who handled the contact
This way you can bring back relevant contacts from a previous edition and prepare follow-up actions before the new fair.
Search for contacts by artistic interests
You can find contacts by the interests recorded on their record.
For example, you can search for:
- Contacts interested in a particular artist.
- Contacts interested in an artwork.
- Contacts interested in an artwork type.
- Contacts with a minimum price and maximum price range.
- Contacts interested in artworks from a particular range of years.
This is useful for cross-referencing your inventory with the tastes or needs of your contacts.
