Manage clients
The Clients submenu shows the contacts who have made at least one purchase in ITGallery.
When you record a sale in the system, ITGallery automatically turns that contact into a client.

Difference between the Client contact type and the Clients submenu
The Client contact type is a contact category you can assign manually on a contact record.
The Clients submenu, on the other hand, automatically shows the contacts with purchases recorded in ITGallery.
This means a contact can be marked as Client on their record but not appear in the Clients submenu if they do not have any purchase recorded yet.
For a contact to appear in Contacts > Clients, they must be linked to a purchase recorded in ITGallery. This section lets you review information related to their purchases, such as artworks bought, amounts, invoices and other sale data.
Search for clients with the advanced search
The Clients advanced search lets you find clients using criteria related to their purchases.

- Go to Contacts > Clients.
- Click Advanced search, in the upper left of the list.
- Fill in the fields you want to use as filters.
- Combine as many criteria as you need.
- Click Search.
Difference between Amount and Purchases
In the clients advanced search you will find the Amount and Purchases fields.
- Minimum amount / Maximum amount: refers to the total money spent by the client.
- Minimum purchases / Maximum purchases: refers to the total number of artworks bought by the client.
For example, if a client has bought one artwork, that counts as 1 purchase.
