Create or edit a template
Email templates let you design, save and reuse email structures to send mass communications to your contacts quickly and consistently.
- Go to the Mailing module in the left side menu of ITGallery.
- Select Templates. The first time you go in, the section will be empty.
- As you create templates, they appear in a list.
- These templates are automatically synchronised with the Mailing sending tool, in the "All templates" menu.
Create a new template:
Click the "New" button in the upper left to start creating a template from scratch. This opens an editor where you can design your template.

Here you can build your template from scratch, according to your needs and preferences.
Define the structure

Before choosing the content, the first step is to select the column layout.
- Go to the Structure section within the editor, in the left side menu.
- Select and drag the column layout you prefer for each section.
- Combine different structures if you need a more customised design.
Add content blocks
Once the structure is defined, add the content blocks you need in each section of the email template.

You can include:
- Text: add and personalise text blocks with formatting options such as headings, bold and italic paragraphs, alignment and links.
- Images: insert images into your template and adjust their size, alignment and links to personalise the visual content.
- Artwork: insert an artwork directly from your ITGallery database, automatically showing information such as image, artist, title, technique or measurements.
- Separator: add dividing lines to separate content.
- Spacer: add white space between blocks for better organisation and a cleaner design.
- HTML: add HTML code for advanced content.
- Button: create customisable call-to-action (CTA) buttons with text, colour and links to send recipients to a specific page.
- Table: insert tables to organise information in rows and columns, ideal for presenting structured data such as lists of artworks, prices or details.
- Footer: add a closing block with information such as contact details, social media, address or legal links, which appears at the end of the email.
Edit a template
If you need to change an email template you have already created, you can do it from the templates list.
