Introduction to the Mailing module

What is Sendy?

ITGallery is integrated with Sendy, a tool for sending email campaigns to your contacts.

From this module you can conveniently manage the gallery's email marketing campaigns, your subscriber lists and the reports on the campaigns you have sent.

How do I get into Sendy?

To reach the mailing module, click the 'Mailing' block in the bottom left corner of the side menu.

The first time you try to open the mailing module, the system shows the following message: 'It has not been possible to access the email sending module, your account is not set up. Please contact support@itgalleryapp.com for more information.'

This is because the first step to using this module is to activate mailing. You can find the details of how to activate mailing in this article.

The Sendy interface

It is divided into three areas:

1. Navigation menu: on the left of the interface, it lets you move between the different options:
   1. Campaigns
   2. Templates
   3. Subscriber lists
   4. Reports
2. Content area: in the centre of the interface, it shows the information for wherever you are in the side menu
3. Settings menu: in the top right, it shows the settings options and the link to leave and go back to ITGallery

Setting up the environment

To reach the settings, go to the menu in the top right of the screen:

1. Click the name of your gallery and select 'Settings'
2. A link with the settings appears in the content area
3. From here you can edit your email sending preferences: name, reply address, etc.
4. You can also change the time zone, the language of the interface, the name of the gallery, and so on.
5. Because it is integrated with ITGallery, changing the email and password does not affect access to the application, since you always get in directly from ITGallery by clicking the 'Mailing' menu.
